Water Filtration

Making water filters is relatively easy. All you need is a container, a rag of some type, charcoal, sand, dirt, and rocks. In order to make a simple water filter you will need to take the container and have a large opening on one end and a small opening on the other end. You will place the cloth at the very bottom of the container, completely covering the hole at the bottom. Next you will put the charcoal over the cloth. Then you will place the sand or fine dirt. Then the dirt, small rocks, medium rocks, and large rocks last. This type of filter is great for filtering undesirable soot out of dark water. It does take a little while to process but at the end you have palatable water. You will still need to purify the water though.
